The Naina Devi Temple is a must-visit spot, dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi, a form of Goddess Shakti. It’s one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India, and people believe it’s where the goddess' eyes fell. The temple is also linked to the story of the demon Mahishasur, so it's also called Mahishapitha. The temple itself is in a beautiful spot, and during Navratri (September/October), it gets super busy with devotees. There’s also a lively fair every year on Shravan Ashtami. Near the temple is a lovely lake where you can go boating. The sunset views there are amazing, and the whole area is just gorgeous.
Upon arrival at Pathankot Railway Station, a representative from Pilgrim Package India will pick you up. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to Mcleodganj Dharamsala—a beautiful hill station lying about 17 km northeast of Kangra Town. Check into the hotel in Mcleodganj Dharamsala and relax. Visit Dal Lake, Bagsu waterfalls, and the famous temple of Dalai Lama. Explore the Mall Road in the evening. Overnight stay at Mcleodganj.
In the early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Our representative will take you to Kangra where you will visit the famous shrine of Kangra Devi Temple. After this, visit Chamunda Devi and Jawalamukhi Temple. You will check into a hotel in Jawalamukhi town for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, you will be visiting Naina Devi approx. 180 km from Jawalamukhi. Relish breakfast in the hotel and proceed to Naina Devi. Dedicated to Shri Nanina Devi, one of the forms of Goddess Shakti, it is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in India. The goddess is present here in the form of Pindi. After Darshan, the representative will drive you back to Jawalamukhi for an overnight stay in the hotel.
After relishing a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel. Our representative will drive you to Pathankot but before that visit Mata Chintpurni Temple. After darshan, proceed to Pathankot. Pilgrim Package India’s representative will drop you off at the Airport or Railway station for your onward journey.
