5 Days - 4 Nights (Pathankot - Bharmour - Bharmani - Manimahesh - Khajjar - Dalhousie - Pathankot)
The Manimahesh Yatra is a popular spiritual trip for Hindus. The name “Manimahesh” means "jewel on Lord Shiva’s crown" as Mani means jewel and Mahesh means Lord Shiva. It’s located in the Pir Panjal Range of Himachal Pradesh, in a place called Bushi Valley, about 25 km from Bharmour. The journey itself can be a bit tough because of the high altitude, but it’s definitely worth it. There are two ways to get there – one is by helicopter, and the other is by trekking. This place is considered by many Hindus to be the ultimate spiritual destination, the center of the world. It’s believed to be the home of Lord Shiva, who is known for destroying evil and bringing peace.

After breakfast, you’ll head to Bharmani Temple. Bharmour is famous for its old temples, especially the Chaurasi Temple, which is about 1400 years old. Then, you’ll visit Bharmani Mata Temple, located on a ridge with lots of pine and deodar trees, about 4 km from Bharmour. Bharmani Mata is considered an avatar of Goddess Durga. After that, you’ll fly by helicopter from Bharmour to Gauri Kund, and then trek 1 km to Manimahesh Lake. You’ll spend the night near the lake.
After a holy dip and prayers at Manimahesh Lake, you’ll trek back 1 km to Gauri Kund and take a helicopter back to Bharmour. You’ll have the evening free to relax or explore the area. Overnight stay at a hotel.
In the morning, you’ll drive to Dalhousie, passing through Kala Top and Khajjiar. Kala Top is a wildlife sanctuary, and Khajjiar is a lovely hill station known for its meadows and forests. It’s a peaceful spot with great views of the mountains. After some time exploring, you’ll continue your drive to Dalhousie. Overnight stay at a hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Pilgrim Package India’s representative will drive you back to Pathankot, where you’ll be dropped off for your onward journey.
