Adi Kailash Yatra Circuit Trekking Tour

Wake up early and have your breakfast. Today, you will drive to Dharchula, where you will get your permits to trek to Adi Kailash. Covering approximately 100 km, you will reach Dharchula passing through the Kali River Valley, parallel to the Nepal Border. Dharchula is the gateway to the Adi Kailash Yatra. You will be dropped off at the pre-booked hotel. Check in and relax. Apply for an Inner Line Permit and complete the medical checkup at the SDM office. Explore the town and get acclimatized. Overnight stay and dinner will be at the hotel in Dharchula.

After breakfast, leave for Gunji. Gunji is a small village situated in the proximity of the Nepal and Tibet border. You will pass through Budhi, Chialekh, and Garbyang villages to reach Gunji. The route passes over the rugged terrain, but the view of the Himalayan ranges makes the journey enchanting. After arriving in Gunji, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel/guesthouse. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Gunji.

Spend your day at leisure today to acclimatize. Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and take a rest in the hotel. Or, if you want, you can indulge in a short trek to Nabi Village, which will help you to prepare for the Adi Kailash Yatra trek. Overnight stay in Gunji.

Have your breakfast and proceed to Navidhang, the base camp and viewpoint of Om Parvat. From Navidhang, you will have the sacred darshan of Om Parvat. It is a sacred peak associated with Lord Shiva. It is renowned for its natural snow formation in the shape of the ‘Om’ Symbol. Next, visit Kalapani Temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali, which is the source of the Kali River. Later, return to your hotel in Gunji for dinner and an overnight stay.

Have your breakfast and leave for Kuti Village, which is named after the mother of the Pandav Brothers, Kunti. You will explore the beautiful natural surroundings and gaze at the breathtaking landscapes. See wide valleys and yaks along with the traditional Byansi stone houses. You will stay for the night in a guesthouse or homestay in Kuti Village.

Today is the most important day of your Adi Kailash Yatra Circuit trekking tour, as you will visit the sacred Adi Kailash. After breakfast, begin trek towards Jolingkong, the base camp of Mount Adi Kailash. Depending on the weather conditions and trekker’s pace, the trek can take 2-3 hours. Have the darshan of the holy Mount Adi Kailash and move forward to Parvati Sarovar or Gauri Kund. It is a beautiful lake associated with Goddess Parvati, located at the foothills of Adi Kailash. Spend some time here, clicking pictures or meditating. You will stay at the base camp.

Wake up early to see the beautiful sight of sunrise in Adi Kailash, reflecting the peak in Parvati Kund. After breakfast, start your trek back to Kuti village. The Pilgrim Packages India’s tour representative will be there waiting for you with a 4X4 vehicle to pick you up. He will drive you to Gunji, where you will stay for the night at a hotel.

To begin your return journey, you will drive to Dharchula from Gunji. You will be dropped off at the hotel/guesthouse in Dharchula in the evening. Check into the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner and cozy sleep.
