Itinerary

Begin by taking a flight from Kolkata to Delhi. Upon arrival, the Pilgrim Packages India tour representative will pick you up from the airport. He will drive you straight to Haridwar at a distance of 237 km. By late evening, you will arrive in Haridwar. Check into the hotel, have your dinner, and rest overnight.

Wake up early in the morning and visit Hari Ki Pauri to attend the Ganga Aarti. Take a holy bath in the Ganga River and return to the hotel. After breakfast, check out. Our tour representative will drive you to Barkot through the scenic Mussoorie hill station. You can even visit Kempty Falls in Mussoorie (Optional). Continue driving to Barkot, which is 196 km from Haridwar. After 6-7 hours, you will reach Barkot, check into the pre-booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Early morning drive from Barkot to Janki Chatti to visit Yamunotri. Janki Chatti serves as the key base for pilgrimage to the Yamunotri Temple. Our tour representative will drop you at Janki Chatti in the morning, from there you will trek for approximately 6 km to reach Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. It is the origin of the sacred River Yamuna, so pilgrims worship the goddess carved in black stone in the temple. After darshan, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund, dedicated to the Sun God (Surya), who is the father of Goddess Yamuna. Trek back to Janki Chatti, where the driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Barkot for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will head towards Uttarkashi, which is the base for the next Char Dham destination—Gangotri. Our tour representative will drive you to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Later, visit the top attractions of Uttarkashi, Shiv Gufa and Vishwanath Temple that are dedicated to lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Early morning drive to Gangotri, which is located at 96 km. Enjoy a scenic drive through Harsil Valley for 3 hours. Finally, reach the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to the River Ganga, one of the most significant and sacred rivers for Hindus. The temple is located at an altitude of 3200 metres on the right bank of the Bhagirathi River and provides a beautiful landscape with a backdrop of the snow-clad peaks. After darshan of Mata Ganga, take a holy bath in the Bhagirathi River. You can even spend time here meditating and soaking in the Himalayan serenity. Return to the hotel in Uttarkashi for the overnight stay.

Have your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Today, we will head to Guptkashi, which is the gateway to Kedarnath. It is the third destination of your Char Dham Yatra. You will enjoy a scenic drive passing through river confluences and mesmerizing valleys. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi.

Have your breakfast and leave for Kedarnath. Our tour representative will drive you to Sonprayag. From there, you will take a local taxi to reach Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath. You will complete a 17 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and freshen up. Join fellow Shiv Bhakts for the evening Aarti in the temple and have darshan. Overnight stay in a hotel near the temple.

Before trekking back to Gaurikund, visit the Kedarnath Temple again for darshan. Have your breakfast and trek back to Gaurikund. Take a local taxi from there to reach Sonprayag, where our tour representative will be waiting for you with a 4X4 vehicle. He will drive you back to Guptkashi for an overnight stay in the hotel.

After breakfast, you will leave for Joshimath, which serves as the gateway to several Himalayan treks, pilgrimage sites, and mountain expeditions. You will drive to Joshimath via Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you will visit the last destination of your Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is located approximately 45 km from Joshimath at an altitude of 3,133 metres above sea level. After a 4-hour drive, you will reach Badrinath Temple, passing through the rugged mountain terrain. After the darshan of Lord Narayan/Vishnu, visit Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mana village, the only place where the Saraswati River can be seen. After this, drive back to Joshimath for dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.

Today, your Char Dham Yatra will end, and you will return to Delhi to proceed to your home. Have an early breakfast and drive to Haridwar. The journey will take around 10 hours, and you will stop at Devprayag for darshan of the confluence of the two pious rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda that together become the Ganga River. Continue your journey to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight.

Wake up early to attend the morning Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri Ghat in Haridwar. Take a holy dip in the Ganga and darshan at the nearest temples. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.
