Itinerary

Start your Char Dham Yatra from Hyderabad by taking a flight to Delhi. It will take around 2 hours and 15 minutes. Later, visit the Red Fort (Lal Quila) and explore the Chandni Chowk market. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Have your breakfast and proceed to Haridwar, one of the most significant Hindu pilgrimage destinations in India. After a 4-5-hour drive, you will reach Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into the pre-booked hotel and relax. In the evening, explore Haridwar and visit Har Ki Pauri Ghat to attend Ganga Aarti. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Have your breakfast at the hotel. If you want, you can go to the Har Ki Pauri Ghat to take a holy bath in the Ganga River. After this, check out of the hotel and proceed to Barkot, a small picturesque town in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, known as the gateway to the Yamunotri and Gangotri, two of the main four pilgrimages of the Char Dham Yatra. You will enjoy a scenic drive through the popular hill station of Mussoorie. After 6-7 hours, you will reach Barkot, check into the pre-booked hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight.

Yamunotri is the first destination of the Char Dham Yatra. It is located at an elevation of 3293 metres above sea level. It is the origin of the River Yamuna. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna, associated with purity and long life. Today, wake up early and get ready to visit Yamunotri, at a distance of 45 km. Have darshan of Mata Yamuna and take a holy bath in the Surya Kund. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti, where the driver will be waiting for you. Drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay. Have your dinner at the hotel itself.

Have your breakfast and check out. Our tour representative will drive you to Uttarkashi, the gateway to Gangotri. You will reach Uttarkashi after a 3-4-hour drive passing through the scenic Himalayan Valleys. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Visit the top attractions of Uttarkashi, Shiv Gufa, and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a replica of Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The cave and temple are dedicated to Lord Shiva. After darshan, return to your hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight.

Wake up early and drive to Gangotri from Uttarkashi. Gangotri is located at an altitude of 3200 metres, and it will take around 4 hours to reach from Uttarkashi, as you drive over the rugged mountain terrain. After reaching, have the darshan of Mata Ganga, the pious river in Hinduism that cleanses your sins and purifies your soul. Gangotri is the origin of the River Ganga, which is initially called Bhagirathi. So, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River. Early drive to Sonprayag for Kedarnath Darshan. Our tour representative will drop you off at Sonprayag, from where you will take a local to Gaurikund, the base of the pilgrimage to Kedarnath Temple. You will complete 17 km to reach Kedarnath. After arrival, check into a hotel near the temple and freshen up. Visit the temple and join the evening Aarti with other Shiv Bhakts. Do bhajan and Kirtan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kedarnath.

Visit the Kedarnath Temple in the early morning for darshan and explore the other attractions on the campus. Trek back to Gaurikund. After arriving, take a local taxi and reach Sonprayag, where you will see our tour representative waiting for you. Today, you will visit Shri Badrinath Dham, located in the Badrinath town of the Chamoli District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and Hindus from all around the world visit this sacred shrine. It is located approximately 45 km from Joshimath at an altitude of 3,133 metres above sea level. After a 4-hour drive, you will reach Badrinath Temple, passing through the rugged mountain terrain.
