Upon arrival at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport or Amritsar Railway Station, a representative from Pilgrim Package India will receive you with a warm welcome and transfer you to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and prepare for your first visit to the Golden Temple. It is the most significant shrine in Sikhism and they call it “Sri Harmandir Sahib or Sri Darbar Sahib”. The Harmandir Sahib is surrounded by Amrit Sarovar. The water is considered to have spiritual healing properties.
In the afternoon, visit Jallianwala Bagh, which is one of the must-visit places in Amritsar. It is located just 1km from Golden Temple. Jallianwala Bagh is the unfortunate place, where thousands of people were killed by the British troops. It is preserved in the memory of those who killed people.
