Anandpur Sahib is a city located on the banks of the Sutlej River and the edge of the Shivalik Hills of Punjab. This is a religious city known for its rich history and cultural heritage. It is home to Anandpur Sahib Gurudwara, which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world for the Sikh community. The Gurudwara was established by the ninth Guru—Guru Tegh Bahadur in the 17th century. It is a sacred place where two gurus—Guru Tegh Bahadur and Guru Govind Singh lived. Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport or the New Delhi Railway Station, the Pilgrim Packages India representative will meet and welcome you. He will transfer you straight from Delhi to Anandpur city. It is a holy city, where the last two Sikh Gurus lived. You will be dropped off at the pre-booked hotel in the city. Check in and take a rest. Overnight stay at the hotel in Anandpur.
Wake up early and head to the Anandpur Sahib Darshan after having your breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be visiting Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib Ji, which is one of the five takhts (thrones) of Sikhism. After this, visit Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sikh Museum, which displays the life and teachings of the ninth Sikh Guru and the history and culture of the Sikh community. Visit Virasat-e-Khalsa Anandpur Sahib, followed by Takhat Sri Kesgarh Sahib Ji, and the Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sikh Museum. Also, see the peaceful Sarovar at Anandpur Sahib and the impressive Bhakra Nangal Dam. After a day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and we will take you back to Delhi airport or railway station, where you can catch your flight or train for your onward journey. Tour ends now.
