Adi Kailash, also called Chota Kailash or Baba Kailash, is believed to be the home of Lord Shiva, Mata Parvati, and their kids, Ganpati Ji and Kartikeya Ji. It's pretty amazing—sitting at a height of 5945 meters above sea level, right on the Indo-Tibetan border, with Kuti being the last village in India. It’s located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. Upon arrival at Kathgodam Railway station, the representative from Pilgrim Package India will receive you with a warm welcome and drive you to Patal Bhuvaneshwar. Kathgodam is a well-connected spot. This is the entry point to the Kumaon region, from where many pilgrimage tours start. Enroute to Patal Bhuvaneshwar, you will pass by some of the major pilgrimage sites like Neem Karoli Baba Temple at Kainchi Dham, Golu Devta Mandir in Almora, Jageshwar Dham, and Hatt Kalika Mata Mandir. Once you are in Patal Bhuvaneshwar, check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Wake up early in the morning and head to Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave Temple. Come back to the hotel for your breakfast and check out. Our representative will take you to Dharchula. The town is nestled in the Himalayan Mountains with the Kali River that divides the town into two parts. You will cross the Indo-Nepal border, the gateway to Adi Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar. To go into Indo-Tibetan regions, you will need permits in Dharchula including a fitness certificate. You will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel in Dharchula for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today, after breakfast, you will head to Kalapani from Dharchula. Kalapani is one of the major spiritual stops of this tour. Besides, you will go through a few famous spots like Pangla, Mangti, Budi Village, and Chialekh. After reaching Kalapani, you will visit the famous Kali Mata Temple. You will camp at Kalapani for the night. Dinner will be provided at the campsite.
Wake up early and head out to visit the Om Parvat. If permitted, you will see Old Lipu Pass which is a viewpoint of Mount Kailash. Return to your camp to have your breakfast. Take your luggage and get off to the historic town of Kuti. Enroute, you will be visiting Vyas Gufa, Shesh Naag Parvat, and Gunji Village. After reaching Kuti, check into the hotel/guest house. Get ready to visit Old Pandava Fort and the local village to experience the traditional culture of the region. Dinner and an overnight stay will be in the hotel/guest house.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the hotel and head to Adil Kailash. Our representative will take you to Adi Kailash. Along the way, you will stop at Gauri Kund and Parvati Sarovar. You will either trek or take a horse ride to reach these spots. When you reach Jyolingkong, you will go to the viewpoint to have the darshan of Adi Kailash and then trek to Parvati Sarovar. Spend as much time as you like worshipping, meditating, or doing rituals with the guidance of the temple priests. You can also visit Gauri Kund to get blessings from the Lama priests. It’s all about prayer, peace, and spiritual connection today. Afterward, you will head back to the campsite at Kuti.
After breakfast, start our journey back to Pithoragarh. You will have your lunch enroute at Pangla, and then arrive in Pithoragarh by evening. Check into the hotel for a restful night with dinner.
After having your breakfast. Get ready to check out. Pilgrim Package India representative will drive you back to Kathgodam. On the way, visit Tanakpur and the Mayavati Ashram/Vivekananda Ashram at Lohaghat. Our representative will drop you at the Railway Station to board your train for an onward journey.
