Once you check in and settle down, it’s time to explore the city. Ujjain is famous for being home to Lord Shiva’s Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and also for its link to the poet Kalidasa and his famous work, Meghdoot. We’ll visit some of the top spots in the city, like the Mahakaleshwar Temple, Chintaman Ganesh, Bhartrihari Caves, and Kaliadeh Palace, just to name a few. After a day of sightseeing, head back to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Start the day early for the Bhasm Aarti (darshan at your own pace), which is a peaceful way to begin the day. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. You can also relish the local cuisine and head to Omkareshwar. After reaching, check into the hotel, and proceed to the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. Later visit Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga, Kedareshwar Temple, Siddhanath Temple, and Bhagvatpaada before heading back to the hotel for the night.
After having a hearty breakfast in the hotel, get ready to drive to Maheshwar and Mandu. Here, you’ll get to visit some cool historical places like Ahilya Bai Holkar Fort, Ahilya Ghat, Maheshwar Shiva Temple, and Jahaj Mahal. In the evening, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
