Itinerary

Warm welcome upon arrival at IGI Airport by a Pilgrim Packages India representative. You will be assisted with your baggage and transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit the stunning Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays), a spiritual and cultural complex showcasing centuries of Hindu tradition, architecture, and devotion. Explore the architectural marvel of the Lotus Temple (also closed on Mondays), a Bahá’í House of Worship shaped like a blooming lotus, symbolizing peace and unity. Continue to the National Museum (closed on Mondays and national holidays), one of India's largest museums, home to a vast collection of art, artifacts, and cultural treasures from ancient to modern times.

Drive past the iconic India Gate – a 42-meter-high arch built in memory of Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I and the Afghan Wars. View the stately Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), formerly the residence of British viceroys and now the official residence of the President of India. Also see the historic Parliament House, a circular structure that houses the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Enjoy lunch and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel in Delhi.

After an early breakfast (or packed breakfast), transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bhopal. Upon arrival, meet and receive assistance from a Pilgrim Packages India representative. Proceed for an excursion to the historic Sanchi Stupa (approximately 45 km), commissioned by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sanchi is renowned for its grand stupa and intricate Buddhist sculptures—an extraordinary representation of ancient Indian architecture and spiritual art. The site remains open from sunrise to sunset and continues to attract scholars, historians, and pilgrims from around the world. Lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant.

Later, drive to Indore (approximately 230 km / 4.5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Indore.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning your scenic drive to Aurangabad. En route, visit the world-renowned Ajanta Caves (closed on Mondays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 100 km from Aurangabad, nestled within the Sahyadri Hills in a horseshoe-shaped gorge. These 30 rock-cut caves, dating back to the 2nd century BCE, are masterpieces of Buddhist religious art. Discovered in 1819 by British army officers, the caves were painstakingly carved over six centuries using only basic tools like hammers and chisels. The site features intricately designed 'chaityas' (prayer halls) and 'viharas' (monastic dwellings), adorned with murals and sculptures depicting the life and teachings of Buddha. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Later in the evening, drive onward to Aurangabad and check into your hotel. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Aurangabad.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for a full-day city tour of Aurangabad. The highlight of the day is a visit to the magnificent Ellora Caves (closed on Tuesdays), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These remarkable rock-cut cave temples were carved between the 5th and 8th centuries AD and represent the spiritual harmony of three major religions—Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The artistic brilliance and architectural scale of Ellora make it one of the most celebrated archaeological sites in India. Lunch will be served at the hotel.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time for shopping or personal exploration. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Aurangabad Airport to board your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Mumbai. In the morning, visit the iconic Gateway of India—an architectural marvel that stands as a symbol of the city’s colonial heritage. From there, proceed on an excursion to the historic Elephanta Caves (closed on Mondays), located on Elephanta Island. These rock-cut caves, dating back to the 5th–8th centuries, are dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva and are renowned for their intricate sculptures and spiritual ambiance.

After lunch, enjoy your afternoon at leisure with time for local sightseeing and shopping in the vibrant markets of Mumbai. In the evening, relish a delicious dinner at a city restaurant. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mumbai.
