Have a relaxed breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the beautiful town of Lhasa. Visit the famous Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. Apart from this, visit the Potala Palace, built by King Sotsen Gampo in the 7th century. After exploring the scenic beauty and cultural heritage, return to the hotel and have a cozy sleep.
Today, you will spend the day at leisure to acclimatize. You can indulge in meeting and chatting with other members of your group tour. You will have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hotel only. Overnight stay at the hotel in Lhasa.
Have your breakfast and get ready to move to your next destination, which is Lhotse. Our tour representative will drive you to Lhotse via Shigatse. Enjoy a scenic drive while passing through Nyangchu Valley, Karo-La Glacier, Gyantse, and Yamdrok Lake. If time permits, you can visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and continue your journey to Lhotse. Upon arrival in Lhotse, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Have your breakfast and head to Rongbuk Monastery. You will pass through the Pang La Pass and enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Lhotse, Everest, and Makalu. After this, return to your hotel in Lhotse for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up early and see the magical view of Mount Everest when the first sunrays strike and it illuminates its peak. This mesmerizing view is a sight to behold. After this, get ready and have your breakfast. We will move forward to Kailash. Our tour representative will drive you to Saga. Upon arrival, check into the guesthouse or hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake early and get ready with your packed snacks to drive to Lake Mansarovar. Today, you will have the first glimpse of Mount Kailash. Our tour representative will drive you to Lake Mansarovar, where you will check into the guesthouse for an overnight stay. After this, visit the Lake Mansarovar and pray to the Almighty. Do not bathe in the lake in the evening. Return to the guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up early and visit the lake again. If you want, you can take a holy bath in the lake and perform puja rituals on the bank of the lake. After breakfast, move to Darchen. Overnight stay will be in the hotel/lodge/guesthouse in Darchen.
Have an early breakfast or get it packed and leave for Tarboche. There is Yam Dwar, which is the entry point of the Kailash Parvat. Every pilgrim will pass through the sacred Yam Dwar situated in Tarboche at an elevation of approximately 1500 feet above sea level. From here, you will begin your Kailash Mansarovar Kora (Parikrama). Trekking through the flat route to a gradual ascent, you will reach Dirapuk, where you will stay for the night in a dormitory-style lodge with basic amenities.
Wake up early and see the magical Mount Kailash that turns golden with the first sunrays striking and illuminating the peak. This view is a sight to behold and cherished forever. You can even capture this breathtaking view on your phone/camera. After breakfast, begin the arduous trek to Zuthulpuk. The initial trekking is steep and takes around 6-7 hours, where you will reach Dolma La Pass at an elevation of 5630 metres. Then you will start descending to Gauri Kund and reach Zuthulpuk, where you will stay for the night in a camp or lodge in a dormitory style.
It’s the last day of your trek. Your Kailash Yatra will be concluded with a short trek to Darchen. So, after having your breakfast, start the trek to Darchen, which will take around 3-4 hours. After descending, you will see the vehicles waiting there for travelers. Our tour representative will pick you up and transfer you to a guesthouse in Darchen, where the other group members will be waiting to join the group, who skipped the trek. Have your lunch here and proceed to Saga. You will stay at a guesthouse in Saga for the night.
Post breakfast, we will head to Shigatse by road. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Have your breakfast and leave early for Lhasa. Our tour representative will drive you back to Lhasa, which is the concluding point of the overland circuit of Tibet. After arriving, visit a nearby monastery or just spend your time at the hotel relaxing. Overnight stay in Lhasa.
