Halong & Heritage: Vietnam Experiences

Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Embark on a half-day guided city tour: Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, the 36-street Old Quarter, and the Temple of Literature. Optional visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum compound or an evening water-puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Post breakfast, drive to Halong Bay in the morning. Travel time from Hanoi to Halong is typically about 2.5 to 3 hours by road. Board a 2-day / 1-night cruise around noon. Afternoon activities include lunch on board, cave visit or kayaking, and sunset on deck—dinner and overnight on the boat.

Early morning cruising with breakfast served on board while the bay scenery unfolds. Disembark late morning and return to Hanoi. From Hanoi, continue by road to Ninh Binh and check into your hotel late afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Ninh Binh. (Choosing an overnight cruise gives more time on the water than a same-day cruise, which can involve long road transfers and limited bay time.)

Have your breakfast at the hotel. Spend a full day in Ninh Binh. Enjoy a boat trip at Tam Coc or Trang An through karst valleys and rice fields. Make short visits to Hoa Lu, Bich Dong pagoda, and the Hang Mua viewpoint for panoramic views. Return to Hanoi in the evening or stay a second night in Ninh Binh, depending on client preference.

Check out of the hotel after breakfast. On time, our representative will transfer you to the Noi Bai International Airport. Take flight back to your home with sweet memories of Hanoi – Halong and Heritage tours in Vietnam. Tour ends.
