Upon arrival at Dwarka Railway Station or Jamnagar Airport, a representative from Pilgrim Packages India will meet and greet you. Thereafter, he will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel in Dwarka with assistance with check-in formalities. Freshen up, relax for some time, and embark on a local sightseeing tour to explore the prominent attractions of Dwarka, Gujarat.
On the first day of the Beyt Dwarka Tour, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple, which is a 2,500-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the universe. The temple showcases brilliant architectural features with intricate carvings, towering shikaras, and a majestic five-story structure built from limestone and sand. Built in Chalukyan-style architecture, the temple complex reflects ancient craftsmanship and deep spiritual heritage.
Also, visit the Rukmini Devi Temple, dedicated to Devi Rukmini, the wife of Lord Krishna and the incarnation of Mahalakshmi. This beautiful temple is located just 2 km from the Dwarkadhish Temple. It is a 12th-century temple with stunning architectural features. Adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures that reflect ancient craftsmanship will surely mesmerize you. Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and take an excursion to Beyt Dwarka. Beyt Dwarka is a sacred island surrounded by the Arabian Sea. It features historic temples, serene beaches, and rich mythology. The place attracts not only devotees but also nature lovers, history buffs, and other tourists.
On the second day of the Beyt Dwarka tour, you will take a ferry ride from Okha port (20-30 minutes). On arrival at the Beyt Dwarka Island, visit the Beyt Dwarka Temple, believed to be the residence of Lord Krishna. Thereafter, visit the Hanuman Dandi, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Makardhwaja. If time permits, you can also visit the Shri Keshavraiji Temple, beaches, or local villages.
Return to Dwarka. En route, visit the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Spend the evening at leisure or enjoy shopping in Dwarka. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Dwarka.
Have a hearty breakfast and check out of the hotel. Then, drive to Somnath, a sacred city and home to the legendary Somnath Temple, home to the first of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. En route, stop at Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir (the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi) and Sudama Temple, dedicated to Sudama (the childhood friend of Lord Krishna).
Upon arrival at Somnath, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. After some relaxation, visit the Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the most sacred Shiva Temples. Enjoy the Sound and Light Show in the evening at the temple complex. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
